Offered/free: Vintage Trek 520 cadaver - needs TLC, wheels, chain, grease, etc

Happy late summer!

A friend relocated about a month ago and needed a home for this rough around the edges Trek 520. Lots of cosmetic issues as it's seen it's share of atmospheric rivers, but I think there is potential for a lockup/beater or maybe brazing practice?

I started stripping it and gave away the (replacement and mismatched) wheels, thinking it could be a project, but am ready to pass it along.

Included:

20" Trek 520 f/f/hs (21" TT, CtC)

Bottom bracket & 86 BCD crankset

Brake calipers and levers

60mm (?) quill stem, 26.0mm clamp

Seatpost

DT shifters (unfortunately I think I must have chucked the clamp-on band)

Good karma for giving new life to a neglected frame

Located in Walnut Creek, very close to BART, as well as the Ignacio Valley Road exit from 680.
