I've been helping to assemble and test a Folger Kossel Delta printer.  With everything hooked up, we flashed the firmware and tried to connect with Repetier Host (Windows, 1.05).  Got "No Start Signal Detected" and garbage-looking stuff in the log: no firmware startup message.  Anyone have any thoughts on what the problem could be?  We tried different baud rates with no luck.  Tried various other fiddly things, also with no luck.

Will next Wednesday's meeting be at Tech Shop?

Next meeting is at B2.

Do you have the right COM port?
Attach the printer and see what com ports Windows recognizes.  Then go into Repetier Host, under Configuration, select the printer profile and see if the COM port matches.

Baud rate should also match what you have defined in your firmware.  I assume you're using Repetier firmware too.

Are you sure the firmware loaded correctly?

Next meeting is at San Pedro Square.  There is a Selena Gomez show at SAP that night.  I hope parking is ok.

Pretty sure we had the right com port and baud settings, and that the firmware uploaded correctly.  We had been having checksum errors on the upload, but switched to a shorter cable and that seemed to fix things on the firmware upload.
