Volunteer day at EBMUD

Greetings all,

The materials have been brought to the site for our project. We have tentatively planned for January 18, 10-2, however rain could cancel this. If only showers then we'll proceed. Call me if in doubt. Mino 510 381-5823. One possibility is a reschedule to Tuesday, but I'll post on Monday morning if there are any changes.

Directions: The project is taking place in Duffel meadow which is approximately 1/4 mile East of the intersection of Bear Creek Rd. and San Pablo Dam Rd. It will be on the very first side road you can turn left on from Bear Creek Rd. A BAAM sign will be posted there. Stay on the gravel part of the road. The shoulders are muddy and will cause ruts.

A quick note: There may be confusion on Google maps about the Bear Creek intersection. There a light there, but in the South/North direction the road changes names from Camino Pablo (from Orinda) to San Pablo Dam Rd. In the West/East direction the road changes it's name from Wildcat Canyon Rd. (from Tilden Park) to Bear Creek Rd.

Bring appropriate gear, water and any snacks you need. It won't be too strenuous. Carpool if you can.
