Fire inspection coming up SOON at Omni

Hi BAAM folks,

As you may know, the Omni is trying to close a bunch of permitting and fire safety issues ASAP because the City is breathing on our neck...

Concretely, for BAAM that means that:

(1) The giant gas range in the basement kitchen will be disconnected, and that entire kitchen area should not be used for anything even remotely resembling food prep! I don't know how much BAAM was making use of that space (if at all), but it will have to be taken out of the equation at least until the rest of the building has passed its fire inspection. After that, we can start working on getting up to code with food and fire safety in that kitchen area separately.

(2) There will be a fire inspection of the *entire* building, possibly as soon as coming Tuesday. Make sure your own space is in shape, including no piles of flammable materials on the floor anywhere, and no equipment plugged into extension cords.
