O25 Nationals 2025 - Registration is OPEN ⛵️🏆

Hi O25ers,

The time is upon us. Registration for this year's Olson 25 Nationals, which are being run at Berkeley Yacht Club as part of their One Design Regatta, are OPEN. The NoR for the event is also posted.

If you, your crew, or your boat require any logistical support to attend the event, do not hesitate to reach out to me. I can offer help arranging trailers, cranes, accommodations, charters etc

OWNERS EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT PARTICIPATING: Sunday Sept 28, the yacht club will open at 8:30am in order to hold our yearly SF Bay owner's meeting to align on the usual topics: midwinters, next-year's calendar, election of fleet rep, and any class other class-specific topics rules/organization/etc. Please plan to attend if you can.

PS Trivia: The last Olson 25 Nationals at BYC were in 2016, and were won by pre-transpac Falk Meissner's original Shark-on-Bluegrass.

One last message about the Nationals:

• Regatta registration closes TODAY at 5pm Pacific Time. Get in while you can!
• Note the NOR amendment which has been posted to jibeset regarding raft-up during the event. 
• Includes a carve-out specifically for the 6:45pm berkeley beercan race if anyone wants MORE racing this weekend
• Friday dinner bell at BYC is 7pm if you are wondering. Snacks/Appetizers for Nationals will be out when we return from the race around 5:30-6pm.
• There will be coffee and breakfast snacks at BYC Saturday and Sunday am, and some free food after racing saturday and sunday. 
• Skipper Meeting Sunday 9/28 9am
• Please plan to return to BYC after the last race Sunday for awards, and pictures.

And don't forget, OTTO’s beer on the dock Friday after racing.  I will have the O-25 Buffs to distribute at that time. Even if you aren't sailing the regatta, don't let that stop you from coming to BYC Friday night.
