Good morning. I am helping to sell my former boat partner Hunter Cutting’s Olson 25. He passed away last fall and it has been emotional for his son to deal with it. The boat was actively raced until September of 2024 and has a full set of sails and two spinnakers. The engine works great also. The problem is the bottom growth is getting crazy and when I show it to people, it’s a turnoff to see that, and some nicks on the bow.  Also, the main sail isn’t quite race ready although it would be fine for a while for day sailing. With a little TLC and a bottom job, it is a great boat. He paid $16,000 when he bought it in 2014. Standing rigging was replaced in 2019. 

The 3 month slip fees are due soon and we really want to close a deal before we have to pay for dry storage. Please let me know if you are interested or have any other questions.

Slip isn’t transferable since they are winding down at Gashouse Cove for smaller boats and doing construction.

Hi Tara,

I've been thinking about an O25 as I crew on Alchemy and love the fleet. I can't get another boat right now unless someone can be a 50% partner in Sausalito...

FYI

In 2007 I purchased a Cal 29 from Richmond YC Foundation for $5K and in 2018 donated her back. 'Tis the season ($16K tax write off possibly)

RYC will sell her and the money goes to youth sailing.
