Time to get those registrations in for the upcoming Wheeler Regatta (April 11).

Fixed mark races OR buoy races (windward leeward). Please cast your vote

Pros of the default fixed marks is that O25s racing will remain eligible for the City of Berkeley Trophy. Cons are it's not buoy racing if that's the experience you're looking for.

What is the City of Berkeley Trophy, you ask? Well, I've learned that when Berkeley Yacht Club received its charter in 1939 a requirement was that it host a yacht race and award this trophy in the city's name. So the BYC's signature race - the Saturday Rollo Wheeler Regatta is the one that determines the winner of that great honor.
