O25 Season update - June 2025 ⛵️☀️

Fellow Olson 25ers, welcome to your regularly scheduled season update for June 2025.

YRA In-the-Bay (O25 Race Day #6) Light turnout for our June race day, but was still great close racing. The updated the scoring table for 2025 is attached. Hard to believe we're already 2/3rds of the way through the 2025 SF Bay season, and Synchronicity's lead in the standings is starting to look insurmountable.

Next up: 7/26 Encinal Regatta & 7/27 Estuary Extravaganza -  Let's raft-up and party in the estuary! Sign up for the YRA Encinal Regatta (link) Saturday and stay in the estuary overnight to eat brunch and participate in the OYC/EYC Estuary Extravaganza (link) Sunday. Sadly it looks like the extravaganza is down to two races instead of three this year.

Just a quick note some upcoming One Design racing opportunities!

1) Today is the last day for early registration for 7/27 Estuary Extravaganza - save yourself $20 and register on jibeset today: http://www.jibeset.net/EYC000.php?RG=T008600809.

2) Encinal Regatta is coming up 7/26 as well. Let's exceed last year's 5 registrants: http://www.jibeset.net/YRA000.php?RG=T008861977

Sketch is signed up for Encinal race and the Extravaganza. We wont make the plastic classic. We have an SFYC club series race next Saturday.

We are short a bowman if anyone wants to come for a sail on Sketch next Saturday.

Hey All, change of plans, Clean Sweep will be out there tomorrow but we are not racing in the O25 division and will just be two of us in Non-Spinnaker division as my crew mate has little experience with spinnaker. Good luck everyone.

Last I checked, we have 4 boats for Saturday and Sunday- hope we can get at least five. Going to be a gorgeous weekend. You get a chance to sail outside the gate and also on the estuary. gotta love the range of sailing we get have open to us here.  

After the Encinal Race on Saturday, Sketch will be serving the latest brew from Otto's Garage. I don't know what exactly John has made, but we all know it will be good. 

Look forward to seeing everyone on the water and at the dock!
