Group joining restrictions to reduce spam

Hi SFBay O25ers,

Not sure how but the spam bots seem to have found the SF Bay O25 group and started joining in order to post about duct cleaning discounts. Sounds like a great deal, but how good is the service>

I changed the settings so that going forward the group admins will have to approve new members to cut-down on spam bots. Currently the group owners are: Falk M, David G, and the o25 gmail account; and the group Managers are: Nick A, David S, JP C.
