Bassist/composer Bill Noertker has long been interested in interactions between visual art and music. In early 2024 he was on hiatus from composing and was instead painting watercolors when he received a
handwritten letter (via snail mail!) from artist Lily Loomis. He was entranced by her oneiric paintings and
a'er a night of curious dreams he began writing the music that was to become Dream Suite. He and his
principal collaborator, Annelise Zamula, are joined by newcomer Eli Knowles on drums in a spacious trio
that blends trance and whimsy and highlights their poignant and inventive interactions.
