Music, dolls and margins

Dear Doll-lings,
Spinning 1st: Lazy Susans. Dolls turning away, then back again. Spinning creating drama. Unresolvable. Turning away becoming tension. Turning back becoming recognition to turn away again.
Meanwhile: I’ve been upgrading the dolly stage: lights, stands, sliding mechanics. Casting: One doll chooses the next doll. The stands: the vendor had 24 doll stand sizes, which was head spinning, so I used AI to compare them side by side. Stability. Visibility. Hands. More range of movement. Less jerkiness. Dance: Then back onto the stage to test what the dolls actually do. The new stands changed everything ⚡

Music led by Dan & Mantra Plonsey w/Cory Wright, Mic Gendreau, Steve Adams, Matthew Welch, Tomek Sinclair, Ward Spangler. I’ll be projecting live doll play drama on a large screen.
For what it's worth, we don't rehearse together. For this concert, I learned who the musicians were from Dan's announcement. Dan asked me for a line before sending it. I was too slow. I had too much going on with the doll stands. His announcement went out before I could tell him. Music at the margins. We meet in performance. Come see for yourself. Rita Sahai & members of the Vasundhara Choir and distinguished musicians. I can't say enough great things about Rita Sahai, I have been studying in the northern classical tradition with her for 9 years. We do these large concerts about every 2 years. All of her compositions.
