Yan Jun visits from Beijing: 2 shows in San Francisco

Hi Everyone,

Yan Jun is visiting from Beijing this month with a couple shows in San Francisco between his appearances in Baltimore and Los Angeles. 

Thursday September 25 Yan Jun and I are playing an hour long duo as part of the Asian Art Museum's Thursday evening series. We'll be improvising in the Samsung Hall upstairs from 6 PM or so. A general admission ticket gets you in. Here's a link through the AAM website, and here's the Bay Improviser listing if you calendar events that way. 

Friday September 26 Yan Jun will play duo with Aine Nakamura as part of the Dead Noise Station series at Dead End Vintage in the Mission. Also on this show are Charlotte Wendy Law and The Last Cicada, the Palo Alto-based duo of Lemon Guo and Calvin Van Zytveld. Dead End is at 3370 19th St. in San Francisco. Doors at 7:30 pm with a $10-15 ask.
