Hello,

The 7th Bay Area Mashtronauts meeting of 2015 is scheduled for tomorrow, 7/14 at 7PM @ B&S Brewers Guild.  B&S Brewers Guild is located at the following address:

Seabrook, TX 77586

For new members, our club regularly meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the same time and location.

July 2015 meeting agenda:
1) New member introductions - If you are visiting us for the 1st time please let us know at the meeting.  It's always great to see new faces!

2) FART schedule - For those new to BAM, FART stands for Friday Afternoon Revival Time.  It's a great way to meet new people and share a few drinks with new and old friends after a long work week.  Please reference the BAM calendar located at http://mashtronauts.com/calendar/.  Here's a quick snapshot for next few weeks...7/17 Cock & Bull, 7/24 Bar 36 (Inside Dickinson BBQ), 7/31 TBD, and 8/7 Bay View Duck.

3) Dues - Tim Gamble will be collecting dues at tonight's meeting.  For a quick reference, individual membership is $20 and family membership is $30.  Cash, credit card, and Paypal payments are preferred.  Please contact Tim Gamble or find him at the meeting if you wish to join or renew your club membership.  

4) Nuts & Bolts competition - Thanks to all who participated in this year's Nuts & Bolts competition.  Judging for all submitted entries was held on 6/20 and winners will be announced during the July meeting.  May the best beer win!

5) LR22 - Lunar Rendezbrew is our annual homebrew competition/festival that takes place in July/August each year.  Here are the details for this year's event...

Event Name:  Lunar Rendezbrew 22
Judging: 7/18 - 9:30AM @ Tim Gamble's house, 7/19 - 11:30AM @ Karbach Brewing Company, 7/25 - 9:30AM @ Scott Riehm's house.  
Event Date: 8/1 (set-up: 12PM-2PM, event: 2PM-8PM, clean-up: 8PM-10PM)

I created a few events within the Bay Area Mashtronauts FB group.  Please join the events if you plan to judge, volunteer or donate homebrew.  Here are the event links for easy access...


We need all of the support we can get to ensure this years' event is a success.  Please contact me or the officers if you have any questions or would like to participate.

6) Lone Star Circuit - The mission of the Lone Star Circuit is to actively promote and support the homebrew clubs, contests, and homebrewers of Texas.  The Lone Star Circuit is comprised of 10 homebrew beer competitions located in TX.  Last year the Austin Zealots won the "Club of the Year" and Mark Shoppe won "Individual Brewer of the Year".  Here are a few upcoming competitions...

7) LR22 T-Shirts -  They are here...buy them now while supplies last!  Steve and Lisa Gawenis will have them for sale at tonight's meeting.  We will also have them for sale at the remaining LR22 judging events and at LR22.  Short sleeve shirts are $20/ea and long sleeve shirts are $25/ea.

8) Other Houston beer club events - Please reference the Foam Ranger event calendar. The Foam Ranger June meeting is scheduled for Friday, 7/17 at 7PM.  Location is listed as TBD.  For additional information please contact Noel Hart at wa...@foamrangers.com.
