July 2016 meeting agenda:
1) New member introductions - If you are visiting us for the 1st time please let us know at the meeting.  It's always great to see new faces!

2) FART schedule - For those new to BAM, FART stands for Friday Afternoon Revival Time.  It's a great way to meet new people and share a few drinks with new and old friends after a long work week.  Please reference the BAM calendar located at http://mashtronauts.com/calendar/.  Here's a quick snapshot for next few weeks...

7/15 - J Henry's
7/22 - Top Golf Webster
7/29 - Dan's Pizza
8/5 - Bay View Duck

We are also planning to shift the FART rotation to a bi-monthly basis.  The current plan is to adjust the FART calendar to reflect Galveston Bay Brewing, TBR, Saloon Door, BAKFISH, Beer’s Looking at You, BVD, J Henry's, and Nobi as core locations.  Gordon Street, Dan’s Pizza, Fetching Lab, Beerfoot, and Galveston Brewing are also great options for additional Friday's or SARTs.

3) Dues - Tim Gamble will be collecting dues at tonight's meeting.  For a quick reference, individual membership is $20 and family membership is $30.  Cash, credit card, and Paypal payments are preferred.  Also note that we will wave you 2017 membership dues if you renewed or completed your TABC cert prior to LR23.  Please contact Tim Gamble or find Tim at tonight's meeting if you wish to join or renew your club membership.

4) Brew-Ins - The July brew-in is scheduled for 7/30 @ Paul & Ginger's house.  We typically start at 9AM to avoid the heat as much as possible.  As always, the club will provide 10# of base grain (typically Pilsner or 2-Row) for each brewer who plans to brew at the event.  The styles for this brew-in are summer beers...Kolsch, Cream Ales, Blonde Ales, etc.  Please be sure to confirm the number of brewers and the base grain needed at least 1 week prior to the event if you plan to attend/brew.  Also the pool will be open so feel free to bring your bathing suit (not birthday suit).  Hope to see you there!

Additional infomation can be found at the following link...

5) Lone Star Circuit - "The mission of the Lone Star Circuit is to actively promote and support the homebrew clubs, contests, and homebrewers of Texas."  Additional information can be found at the Lone Star Circuit home located at http://www.lonestarcircuit.com/.
