You're Invited! Exploratorium After Dark: Back-to-School Night

Hello all - 

I hope you had a great summer! I wanted to reach out and invite you to join us for a special night at the Exploratorium—the first ever After Dark: Back-to-School Night, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 6-10pm. 

Kick off the school year at the Bay Area teachers’ home for science! Nostalgic photos, friendly competitions, and arts and crafts—back-to-school season is in full swing at After Dark. Join us to celebrate the power of knowledge, from STEM trivia to an iron chef–style game between science teachers. Hang out with your friends, take a throwback school photo, and enjoy a live DJ set.

How do I get a ticket?

• Alumni of the Exploratorium’s Teaching & Learning (e.g. Teacher Institute, Institute for Inquiry, Tinkering Studio, Art of Tinkering) programs are welcome to join us for FREE. Fill out this form to register for free admission. 
• All Bay Area school teachers receive 50% off admission for this event upon showing their school ID at entry.
• Your guests are welcome to purchase tickets at entry.
