Hello Maker educators!
Its been a minute...but I wanted to spread the word about a pilot project that our Library Makers community is launching this summer: a Wiki for Makers.
Our LibraryMakers.org website is a great place for networking, conversation and learning about making, makerspace management and maker programs in a library setting, but we have found a need to catalogue the great resources and suggestions that have come through in a shared, collaborative space....and so we now have started a wiki!
The wiki of course is a collaborative endeavor, and it is its very first stages.
If you are interested in learning more or contributing to the wiki, we will have many ways to participate unfold over the next weeks and months...and you don't need to be a library person to add to the wiki! Just a person who knows a bunch about maker tools and materials!
Wiki sections include:
Making Software
Making Equipment
Making Programming
Making for Accessibility
Making and Collections of Things
Making Policy and Administration
Making Facilities and Furnishings

Happy making y'all!
