Hello Bay Area Maker Educators and Friends,
My non-profit, the Oracle Education Foundation, is currently reevaluating ways in which we can help computer science teachers and students achieve their goals. We currently push into existing classes to provide project-based curriculum chunks involving design thinking, hardware and web, game, and artificial intelligence development as well as creative computer courses such as Blender and p5js tutorials.
The question that faces us is how to extend our impact, but we need some data to help our decision making process. Please let me know if you, your school, or any teachers you know might be interested in adopting a free curriculum on one of these topics with training and support from our organization.
Also, if you had a magic wand and had any type of educational support, what would it be?
I look forward to dreaming with you and seeing your ideas as we at OEF look to reimagine what the next 10 years of how our organization serves teachers and schools.
Best regards, Abigail
