Dear All, 

On March 10th, SF Team Tibet***, as well as other groups around the world, will take to the streets to commemorate the 54th anniversary of the 1959 Tibetan National Uprising. 

We mark March 10th each year to show solidarity with Tibetans inside Tibet and to honor and support the brave resistance to Chinese rule that continues to this day. Tibetans in Tibet are risking everything to ensure their message is heard and acted upon by the outside world. With the total confirmed number of Tibetan self-immolations at 107 in Tibet, and at least 5 outside Tibet, this year is especially vital. We cannot back down and we will not back down. Freedom is our right! Bhoe gyalo! 

SF Team Tibet urges every Tibetan from walks of life around the Bay area to be part of this historic day of the Snowland.

Together we will make a difference.

Schedule:

8:00am-9:00am l Tibetan Flag Raising Ceremony @ Berkeley City Hall

10:00am-12:00pm l Gather @ San Francisco City Hall

12:00pm-1:00pm l March to Chinese Consulate

1:00pm-2:30pm l Protest @ Chinese Consulate

2:30pm-4:30pm l March to Union Square

5:00pm-8:00pm l Evening Program @ San Francisco Union Square
