I called the Eldorado NF in Placerville. LL Campground will open on
Friday of Memorial Day weekend, 5/28, and as of now, rates are set at
$28/night, the same as for non-walk in campgrounds. I will call Royal
Elk Park Management, the concessionaire, to request they return that to
the $15 it has been in the past and keep you posted.
Sand Flat Campground, on the south side of highway 50 near Kyburz, is
open now, no reservations. See
