Hi,

My name is Jina Brooks and I am a part of Occupy Santa Rosa.  I am looking for someone to potentially speak at OSR or an OSR educational event about activism and meditation or topics such as getting out of ego.......

I'm interested in something I don't have the name for but I'm calling in radical meditation, that is occupying public spaces and sitting.  As part of the Occupy Community Wellness group we sit every Sunday at 1:30 at City Hall in Santa Rosa. Usually there are only a few of us but I LOVE when someone joins us to sit.  Its the moment where someone chooses to sit and the sacred touches the 'regular' world.  It is very open to all the sounds in the street and people coming and going. People are very cautious about joining but I maintain a very open stance including children.........

I don't know of any contacts up here in Sonoma County but would be very interested in them or if someone is interested in coming up here for an afternoon.
