Crane Update

Hi all,

I hope everyone is well. We are almost at our goal of 1,000 cranes. We only need 250 more to go! Does any body have cranes to add to our collection? I know that Tim and Dawn have some (which I've already included in our count of 750) that they've made. 

Anyone else? We're so close!

Hi Funie, I hope you are having a good day today. Yes there's a bag of cranes here. The situation is sensitive around that big tree in the plaza. We once spoke about an inside Chinese person to ask the mayor's permission. That would make a fantastic story for all concerned, with a large sit before installing them. So exciting to hear that we are so close! I also have a donation of paper that came in to the BPF office - Funie, we should coordinate a handoff this week!

On timing of the installation: Details are still coming together (folks just met this afternoon on a conference call), but it looks like Saturday December 3rd is going to be a large sit, both at Occupy Oakland and at Occupy sites globally. I wonder if we can coordinate the cranes installation with this?
