Hi 
   The press across the country  made
the Oakland General Strike at Occupy Oakland look very violent and
unproductive.    I need to tell you that this is from from the truth.
It was a very large group of concerned people being the change.
The change that needs to come to our country and the world.  
 
   There was lots of activities---speeches, teach-ins, fun dancing,
concerned groups with information and eduction, meditators,
preacher, homeless, teachers and students and everyone else.
Old and young and by far one of the most diverse places on the
planet.   This diversity is with leadership and all aspects of the
Occupy Oakland.

  It was peaceful, loving and lots of fun to boot.
I just finished 20 days of daily Meditation at the Occupy Oakland site.
The group of hundreds will continue daily at noon to one pm.
I will continue with the same group when we return from Mexico on Nov 19.
The meditation and the merit from the meditation has for me and I hope
many others, brought mindfulness and being in the present.
We also have created a quiet space in the midst of what is at times a very
noisy and confused scene at Occupy.

   What continues to come up for me is the need to curb (get rid of )
"K Street" in D.C.    K Street is the home of  the Corporate Lobby and
special interest groups.    I want the politicians to represent us the people
instead of the money that is flowing  from these
lobbies  to the Politicians.
