Connection Action tomorrow in Oakland

Dear BPFers,

Writing to check in and let you know that tomorrow I will be near the Interfaith Tent distributing "Occupy New Consciousness" flyers and "simple practices for complex times" booklets, as well as invitations for the "Occupy Gaia" event in Berkeley the day after tomorrow on behalf of the Connection Action Project (having to do with Keystone XL and climate change).

I will be there until early or mid-afternoon. If you are interested in learning more about the integration of spirituality, social action and empathic communication, please drop by.

I am hoping to enjoy some sitting with other meditators during the day too. There is so much energy in downtown Oakland these days, it seems while there my being is called into quietness, so I am grateful for people who are making a point to not "just do something, sit there," as it meets needs for companionship, peace and hope.
