Resurrection of Bay Area Archivists!

Hello all,

There has been some momentum and interest from a variety of Bay Area archivists about organizing more networking opportunities and events locally. Thus, we are resurrecting this google group that Christy Horton put together years ago (thanks Christy!), for communicating, organizing, and otherwise sharing information among archivists in the Bay. Several of us are working on organizing at least three happy hour events in SF, the South Bay and the East Bay - in addition to the long standing Cheer Fest in SF in December that we all look forward to - over the next year. Please let me know if you are interested in helping with any of these or otherwise have any feedback or ideas.

Looking forward to greater archives networking with you all! Please feel free to post, invite new members, and otherwise circulate this list.

Yay! Count me in! Elena and I are willing to host. Well, Sydney, Paula, and Stephanie, too, but we all know Elena will do most of the work and I am her helper, haha!
