| | Dear Friends, Our volunteers and members are hard at work preparing our Pros & Cons Guide, learning about local ballot measures, and organizing candidate forums (don't miss our SFUSD Board of Education candidate forum tomorrow, September 5). It’s all in service of being a trusted source for election information for all San Franciscans! We’re fortunate to have been invited to speak with communities and companies across the city — including KALW, Salesforce, and the Museum of the African Diaspora — about ranked-choice voting and other things people need to know about voting. I encourage you to remind your neighbors to visit lwvsf.org/vote and check their voter registration on September 17, National Voter Registration Day. And in honor of that day, come to KALW’s free film screening of “Counted Out.” |

Missed our District 9 Supervisor candidate forum? |

Our first candidate forum was a sold out success! Over 100 residents of the Mission, Bernal Heights, St. Mary's Park, and Portola came to City College’s Mission Center to hear from the seven candidates for Board of Supervisors, District 9 — and hundreds more tuned in to the livestream. Read about the night’s excitement in Mission Local and keep an eye on our YouTube channel, where we'll share the event recording soon. |
