New Bay Area GeoMeetup

Hello BAUGOS friends,

I spoke to Josh yesterday and he has been super busy working at the big G and being a family man. Sadly, this has meant that there have not been any BAUGOS meetings in awhile. Of course, during one of our bar meetings, some of us accepted to help organize other get-togethers, and, as you can see, failed miserably at the task at hand (Eric, I am not taking all of the blame for this by myself you know!).

So in the spirit to continue these geo discussions, I thought it would be a good idea to broaden the topics and not make them just about open source, but pretty much about anything related to geo. I want to schedule these things on a monthly basis, and this mailing list is very quiet, but has the right crowd.

So, if you wish, please join us at the Bay Area GeoMeetup. We already have our first meeting scheduled and would love to have you there.
