Sorry guys for being late here.

As Amit described the app we made is now named Encryptor. It is an app which can be used by any other android application of encrypt/decrypt text. This would move the responsibility of encrypting and decrypting from the application to Encryptor. Additional this app would allow of additional plugins to be installed which would facilitate other encryption algorithms to added indipendently.

The code is hosted at google code http://code.google.com/p/baugdev-encryptor/

I have added some details on how to use the application in the wiki pages here http://code.google.com/p/baugdev-encryptor/w/list

Things to be done:
1. UI For Encryptor is pretty basic. Needs to be revamped
2. Plugin installation mechanism is not really in place right now.
3. More plugins need to be written for various encryption algorithms

Guys please correct me if I have missed anything.

Thanks,
-Saurabh

Hello Everyone,

We had a nice baug-dev event, although lots of people couldn't come. We discussed following ideas:
1. Twitter client which can filter tweets. For eg I follow person 1 but I dont want to see all his tweets only when he tweets about android
2. An app/library which will let other app developers introduce text encryption/decryption easily.

We end up building idea number #2. Please watch the baug-dev-events google group for more details. Saurabh will post the svn details and other docs.

We created encryptor library with a plugin structure wherein other developers can provide algorithms and modified google's notes sample app to ecnrypt/decrypt notes.

Thanks to everyone who came it was fun.

BTW one of our ideas from first meet is here http://www.everytrail.com/mobile :)
