For the benefit of new people who would join:

Features of Auto Meter

1. 'Start' the app and put it in'hire' mode when you taken an auto, on
reaching destination 'stop' it. Auto Meter will tell you
- Waiting time
- Distance travelled
- Fare

2. Auto Meter should let you enter the 'actual' money you paid.

3. Store historical travels to compare costs. Show route and price

4. Option to upload travels/cost to the server so that others can get
it.

5. Ask Auto Meter how much would it cost to go from A to B. Auto Meter
will find this using the google maps distance or historicals or
community history

6. Settings to record/configure various items like base fare,
distance, units etc

Guys please add

7. Waiting time will be configurable in settings e.g. minimum 5
minutes of pause to increase the waiting time by .01 unit.

8. If required in later version we can add 'share the location e.g. i
went somewhere and want to share the location with friend as a gps
location or as an address (it can be done using google map api)'

9. While uploading travels/trips to server we can support (meta-data)
few lines of comments (like 60 -120 chars) about the trip e.g. total
waiting time because of the traffic jams or good timing to go etc
etc.

10. Ask user to log in the auto waalah's auto number too and the
amount that was shown by his meter. Then app can predict the meter
according to that auto so people will not use that auto, this
functionality can be used to detect the faulty autos by searching
about auto using app... by providing the auto number before hiring the
auto. ... it will be killer one... :-)
