I've been trying to use Baudline to create some test signals. The
method I have used before is to use jack-audio to connect the Tone
generator output to the Baudline input and use the play deck to start
and stop the recording.

WHen I try this on my workstation running Ubuntu 11.04 x86_64 the
program crashes with a Segfault and no other diagnostics.

fter failing, I tried it in several virtual machines (a few flavors of
Fedorda and Ubuntu as well as Ubuntu studio, both 64 and 32 bit) with
no luck I can list the version if interested.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

So did this JACK loopback previously work correctly?

Can you post the version number from the "jackd -v" command?

Yes, I have had this working before.

I am running jackdmp 1.9.7 in Ubuntu 11.04 X86_64.

I did finally find a machine that it would run on, a PowerMac running
OSX 10.5.6 and jackdmp 1.9.7.1
