Installing on windows

Dear all,

Anyone knows of a simplified set of instructions to install on windows for two 80 years old who would like to use ghini for managing their small botanic garden?

good that you're asking today and not last week: today the answer is positive. ;-)

I just managed to review the contribution by Ross, user in Australia, for the NSIS installer.

with that, I just published release 1.0.85.

if you prefer a self-contained portable installation, ghini on a stick, and if you can wait a couple of days, I have slightly adapted the software and am about to publish it in the next 1.0.86 release. Starting 1.0.86, you should be able to run ghini from a USB stick, along with its databases, move the stick to a different Windows machine, and all should just work.

if you don't need running on a USB stick, you can grab the Windows installer for 1.0.85, here:
