Dear Friends Hope you all are doing fine. I think that you might hear the sad news of our friend Md. Mosharaf Hossain Pathan (Ag, 2002). He is currently suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Now he is in India for his treatment. I would like to request you to take initiatives form your sights. Please see the following mail and circulate to others as I don’t have all of our friend’s e-mail.   As you know, fund raising for Pasha vai is still ongoing through BAUnet. Hope it will finish soon. By this time Dr. Zakir sir circulate Pathan’s appeal through BAUnet. Tejgoan Industrial Area Branch, Dhaka and an ex-BAU student (Ag. 2002 & MS in Crop Botany) has recently been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. He has already undergone intensive treatment over the past month. He is now under the treatment of Doctor ABM Yunus, Dept of Haematology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mojibur Rahman Medical University.The medical board has suggested him to go abroad for further treatment immediately. He is supposed to go to India on 18th instant. Money required for his treatment and necessary following check up is approx. Tk. 40-50 lacs. This is obviously a big target as he needs this fund shortly. Fourty to fifty lacs taka may sound a lot but I believe with joint efforts we can help him a bit. Let us come forward to save our beloved BAU alumni by our collective efforts. He deserves our whole-hearted support in his critical period of life. He equally needs both mental and financial supports from the Agriculturists Community in home and abroad. Our small support can help him to survive in this world.
