Role: IIB Developer

Location: Remote

Duration: Contract

 

Responsibilities:

Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.

Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.

Develop applications in languages including ESQL

Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

 

Qualifications

•     Experience in strong design and hands-on development in IBM Integration Bus ACE and IIB 9 products.

•     Experience in architecture principles, system integration, technical sizing, high availability aspects, integration best practices

•     Experience in IIB framework design, various design patterns

•     Must have strong experience in IIB ACE, IIB 10 and IIB 9 and IBM WebSphere MQ

•     Experience with ESQL, DFDL,XML, JSON mapping and usage of SOAP,HTTP and JMS protocols

•     Integration knowledge of event based integration, pub-sub, and request-reply, synchronous-asynchronous

•     Nice to have IIB Administration skills.

•     Ability to work effectively under pressure with constantly changing priorities and deadlines.

•     Good understanding of Change Management process.

•     Good communication skills.

•     Java Development experience would be a major plus

•     Strong debugging, problem solving and investigative skills. Ability to assimilate disparate information (log files, error messages etc.) and pursue leads to find root cause problems.

•     Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.

•     Self-starter who can work independently.

•     Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major.

•     Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solution
