Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Duration: 12 Months

 

Position Description:

•         Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment

•         Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications

•         Take direction from solution architects and Leads on development activities

•         Developing reference implementations and conducting Proof of Concept for feasibility studies

•         Documents all work for future reference and provides training and / or documentation materials regarding latest technical and functional design changes

•         Analyzes the functional and technical impact of changes and makes sound recommendations on functional and technical improvements to the product.

•         Develops contingency plans as necessary.

•         Anticipates, identifies, tracks, and resolves issues, risks, action items affecting own work and work of the Application Team.

•         Mentor the team, plan, assign and monitor the development tasks for the team members

•         Actively participates in formal reviews of architecture, design, and code

•         Publishes clear, concise, and detailed design documentation

 

Technology Stack: Azure, AKS, DevOps, AzureSQL, Java, SpringBoot, Veu.js with interaction between other enterprise solutions.

 

Must have

•         Education in accredited institutions – Required 4 years (Desired 6 years)

•         Demonstrated experience with the projects’ technology stack (Azure, AKS, DevOps, AzureSQL, Java, SpringBoot, VeuJS with interaction between other enterprise solutions). 5 years

•         Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Azure 5 years

•         Designing integrations between enterprise applications and internal / external solutions 10 years

•         Experience in spring-ldap and sprint-tx frameworks 3 years

•         IT Developer experience - Required 10 years

•         Experience with J2EE applications development – Required 10 years

•         Experience in web services design & development (SOAP/XML and REST/JSON) for enterprise – Required 10 years

•         Experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 – Required 5 years

•         Experience with relational database development using SQL – Required 10 years

•         Preferred

•         An understanding of Micro-services Architecture

•         Experience in developing dynamic application with externalized, configuration driven content & business logic.
