Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Location: Worcester, MA

Duration: 12 Months

 

Acts as senior technical resource with advanced administration to design, build, and customize ServiceNow applications and services. Works across applications, delivers new functionality and innovative solutions, and supports the entire development lifecycle.

Major Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services.
• Develop clear and concise technical & process documentation.
• Communicates processes, operations and capability information to all levels of management effectively.
• Understands new features and unused module functionality to drive platform expansion and adoption.
• Reviews Stories, ensures requirements are clearly understood and aligned to program guiding principles and provides guidance on best direction for configuration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of three (3) years of ServiceNow development experience in large scale environment.
• Familiarity with the development and support of custom/scoped ServiceNow applications.
• Experience with ServiceNow development standards and integration methods, including JavaScript, Jelly, UI Pages, Portal/widget development, integration via REST, SOAP, Web services, data transformation.
• Ability to take customer requirements and turn them into scalable solutions which align with current ServiceNow development standards.
• A software development background that will be enhanced by ServiceNow System Administration, ServiceNow Advanced System Administration, Scripting in ServiceNow, and Application Creation in ServiceNow.
• Experience in Enterprise and/or IT Service Management, Advanced System Administration, database design schemas and data modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to effectively evaluate information and/or data to make decisions.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate information to audiences at all levels of the organization, client representatives as well as provide end-user documentation and self-help solutions.
• Must have strong team leadership, must be able to collaborate well with others and actively incorporates their input.

 

Preferred:

• ITIL V3 Certification.
• Healthcare industry experience.
