Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to execute and validate automated tests for software applications and systems. The role involves developing and maintaining automation frameworks, identifying defects, supporting testing initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and develop comprehensive test cases.
Design, create, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts based on functional and system specifications.
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium with Java or C#.
Contribute to the enhancement and expansion of the existing automation framework.
Perform regression testing for new releases and product updates.
Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git and Jenkins to support continuous testing.
Identify, document, and track defects with detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely defect resolution.
Retest resolved defects to confirm fixes and validate system stability.
Maintain accurate documentation of test cases, procedures, and results to ensure traceability and consistency.
Troubleshoot complex issues and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of Strong understanding of software testing principles and SDLC/STLC.
Hands-on experience with Selenium automation.
Proficiency in Java or C# for automation scripting.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Experience in regression testing and defect tracking tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to automation framework design and enhancement.
Basic understanding of DevOps practices and pipeline integration.
