Role
Summary
We are
seeking an experienced ServiceNow (SNOW) Developer to design, develop,
configure, and support ServiceNow applications in an enterprise ITSM
environment. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow platform
development, integrations, and automation, with a focus on stability, scalability,
and compliance.
Key
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize
ServiceNow applications using JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules,
Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions
- Configure and support core ITSM
modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and CMDB
- Develop and maintain Service
Catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer flows, and approvals
- Build and support integrations
using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and data imports
- Customize forms, lists, views,
dashboards, and reports as per business requirements
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow
best practices, platform standards, and upgrade compatibility
- Participate in production issue
resolution, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
- Support platform upgrades,
patching, and testing activities
- Collaborate with functional
consultants, platform admins, and stakeholders to translate requirements
into technical solutions
- Maintain technical documentation
and support audit and compliance needs.
- Participate in the full
ServiceNow implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering,
solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Design and configure ServiceNow
modules such as ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change Management), ITOM, HRSD,
and others based on business needs.
- Develop integrations between
ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and other
relevant technologies.
- Implement workflows, business
rules, and automation to streamline processes and improve user experience.
- Work closely with IT teams,
business stakeholders, and other ServiceNow professionals to align
solutions with organizational goals.
Required
Skills & Experience
- 3–7 years of hands-on ServiceNow
development experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript
and ServiceNow scripting framework
- Experience with ITSM
implementations in enterprise environments
- Working knowledge of CMDB,
Discovery, and integrations
- Experience with ServiceNow update
sets, scoped applications, and deployment best practices
- Strong understanding of ITIL
processes
- Experience working in production
support and regulated environments
