An esteemed client. is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Generative AI, LLMs, and cloud-based AI deployment.
This role is ideal for professionals passionate about building enterprise-grade AI solutions, operationalizing machine learning workflows, and deploying scalable LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and intelligent automation solutions.
The ideal candidate will bridge software engineering, AI/ML, cloud platforms, and enterprise integration to solve complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI solutions including:
- Large Language Model (LLM) applications
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines
- AI Agents
- Predictive analytics and ML models
- Translate business requirements into production-ready AI solutions with measurable business outcomes.
- Build scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise platforms.
- Implement and optimize:
- Prompt engineering
- Embeddings
- Vector search
- Model fine-tuning
- LLM orchestration workflows
- Apply Java stream technologies and backend engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with:
- Data Engineers
- Data Scientists
- Product Owners
- Cloud teams across global/onshore-offshore environments
- Implement MLOps / LLMOps practices, including:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring & observability
- Model governance
- Versioning & deployment automation
- Ensure Responsible AI practices, including:
- Security
- Compliance
- Data privacy
- Governance by design
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting, optimization, and continuous improvement of AI systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
- 4–8+ years of experience in:
- Software Engineering
- Machine Learning Engineering
- AI Solution Development
- Strong programming expertise in Java.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Generative AI
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- RAG pipelines
- Embeddings
- Prompt Engineering
- AI Agents
- Strong understanding of:
- SQL / NoSQL databases
- Feature engineering pipelines
- Data engineering concepts
- Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms:
- Google Cloud Platform (Preferred)
- AWS
- Azure
- Experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms and scalable cloud-native AI deployments.
