To activate the mail id...u hav to raise a ticket....it can be done
in TCS lab in 6th floor...near ASPIN room(the room which we changed on
friday for soft skills)...
I will give my TCS india domain username and password
username--542118
password--tcs@12345
using this username and password u can get access to the pc....
now NOTE DOWN THE STEPS which i giv below....and raise a ticket in
ultimatix....
STEPS TO RAISE A TICKET..
1--open your ultimatix in the lab
2--open helpdesk...global help desk...
3--in global help desk..check the box TO RAISE A TICKET....below u
will find a drop box...select tcs internal IT services...submit..
4--in next page it will ask for conformation....conform it...
5--in the next page u will find 4 drop boxes one below the other.....
6--1st is TCS internal IT services
2nd is global messaging support(zimbra)
3rd is zimbra messaging support
4th mailserver access issue
7--in description box type that u hav selected mail in ultimatix and
u need tcs mail URL and PASSWORD
8--scroll down...giv phone no...branch as tcs ilp chennai...cubical as
pelican(52)
9--submit..
wait for one day
TO CHECK THE TICKET status()
1--helpdesk...global help desk...
2..in the next page...check the box view status of the ticket....
3--there u will find the status of the ticket that u hav raised
u can open raise ticket only in the lab....so note down the steps and
raise a ticket in the lab...
u will get the password for mail id in 1 day....open the mail id using
the URL sent by them and change your password.....
activate it soon as u will important messages in TCS mail only.....
