The South East Asian Youth Leadership program targeted for high school and first year university students between the ages of 15 and 17 as well as for teachers or community leaders who work with youth is a twenty-five day scholarship program taking place in the Northern Illinois University (NIU).
The program will offer a practical examination of the principles of democracy and civil society as practiced in the United States and provide participants with training that allows them to develop their leadership skills. The program will also include extracurricular activities including interactive site visits with organizations in Chicago, Indiana, and Washington, D.C.
