Good morning!

Just to alert you about crime happening around us. I parked my car at Sebele Shopping mall yesterday around 14.00hrs and as usual closed the doors and locked using the remote on my way out. Little did I realise that as I was locking there were some guys in a black Subaru car parked nearby who managed to keep my car unlocked. I am told that they used some gate remotes to interfere with the car locking system. As soon as I had left the car they opened the doors got into the car and started searching and looking all over for whatever they wanted to take. Fortunately I had not left any valuables in the car except for house keys which I fortunately found in the car. What we are still not sure of is if they were searching for valuables or they actually wanted to steal the car. As soon as the security approached my car they got into the black Subaru and sped off before the police could arrive at the scene.

Please be on the lookout for a black Subaru car with registration numbers; B137 AXT. Apparently these are well known notorious guys who are always loitering around packing malls waiting for their next prey. Let us all be vigilant and on the lookout at all times!

Most importantly after using the remote key just remember to physically check that all the doors are locked. I know that we have always been told about checking but we sometimes just forget.
