We are experienced in delivering large scale offshore engineering contracts works involving FEED, Detailed Engineering, PMC and Engineering Services. We are looking for highly professional technocrats with offshore/onshore upstream/downstream experience   Primary objective: Responsible for the set-up of project databases, maintenance and users support for the PDMS and AutoCAD engineering systems. Position description – (Roles &) Accountabilities Technical Abilities • Possesses solid knowledge/experience (multiple years) of PDMS project administration in the support of major projects (including support of a PDMS user community with the various PDMS modules and operating systems (UNIX/NT). Further exposure and experience with Oracle, Fortran, C languages, PML, LISP and Visual Basic would be most desirable. • Possesses PDMS/REVIEW/AutoCAD knowledge. • Possesses broad onshore/offshore design experience with quality control/checking skills, and knowledge of fabrication techniques. Has knowledge of onshore/offshore oil and gas production facility design standards/specifications. • Has ability to effectively interface with multiple communities, including process managers, engineering project managers, design engineers, designer/drafters, alliance consultants, vendors and other team leaders. • Has hardware knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project). • Has complete understanding of detail design deliverables for Onshore/offshore projects   Requirements Responsibility •         Understands the scope of each project and has the capability to create PDMS project database structures that will enable the 3D design and subsequent creation of deliverables from the PDMS project databases. This includes interfacing with other project databases (Oracle, Engineering Design Database, etc.) with the PDMS databases. •         Is familiar with or has been exposed to Aveva’s PDMS Global application •         Coordinates multi-discipline design expertise using 2D AutoCAD and 3D PDMS CAD systems. •         Works closely with Drafting Coordinator, discipline Project Engineers, Project Management, Multi-discipline Engineers in the forecasting, scheduling of man-hours, cost, project construction deliverables, quality control, drawings, and overall project support. •         Recommends, designs and implements work process improvements. •         Is aware of industry leading technology trends and applications. •         Architects technology infrastructure to reduce cycle time and cost. •         Actively supports Lessons Learned feedback.     Other Skills Requires a certification from a recognized technical school in the field of computer drafting and design with 10 years of experience in applying the PDMS Admin skill to upstream oil and gas projects with experience on major capital projects.
