" a challenge of keeping busy when you have nothing to do"
it feels a little awkward maybe ?
or am i just tired ?

When your awake but half asleep
enchanted by midnight that you didnt keep
the sun is around
and there is narry a sound
but the pillow it is you cannot keep
busy transpiring what in your heart your admiring
but willing or not you cannot start hiring
a muscle to move for soemthing to do
you look around to find things that sound like
excitement and entertainment and a reason to move
your head to the side
your body not your mind,
listlessly wondering to be cruel or kind
aware of your state unable to unwind
you shift and you shuffle
a slight groan you you muffle
as you stand and wander and scuffle
maybe you'll try to eat that waffle
stretching and yawning
creeping and crawling
you feel like your about to start bawling
but you wander about, without much adoo
constantly thinking about what you'll do
complacent and exhausted
keeping bright and frosted
you try to edure the way
hoping at the end the price you dont pay
is that of a completely unproductive day
