Testicular Pain

So have any of you older gents experienced testicular pain from lugging your upright around, or have you ever heard of this occurring?  I have a pretty slender body frame and not a lot of muscle mass.  I have had lower back pain from schlepping the bass, but not testicular pain until now.  Of course it could be entirely unrelated to the bass and I am going to the doctor to get it checked out, but I just wondered if you could shed any light on this.  Getting old sucks.

Yes, I have a cart. I've had it for more than ten years and it works really well. Still need to get the bass in and out of the car, on and off stage, etc.

Probably not related, good luck at the Doc. That being said, it's important to be careful and use leverage. I use a Bass Buggie, but I converted mine to 10" pneumatic wheels (lots of gravel and too few sidewalks).

Hi Rob

I hope everything is alright. I'm old and slender and carry the bass, accordion and amplifier, depending on the occasion. My muscles are weaker and sometimes arthritis wants to hurt my hips but nobody my age that I know has experienced your problem. See a doctor asap. I'm only 73.
