Dear all,

Happy New Year!

BMM is resuming, and for the upcoming January and February meetings we will host two special sessions as follow-up events to BGUM 2025. We are pleased to welcome two industry representatives from BGUM to give invited talks.

Our next BMM meeting will take place on Tuesday 27 January at 16:00 (CET) in Room 401, Institut Jean le Rond D’Alembert. A Zoom link will also be available for those who would like to attend remotely.

The talk titles will be shared at a later date.

Best regards,
Tianyang

Dear all,

As a follow-up on Tianyang's announcement, for tomorrow's BMM the speaker will be Andriarimina Daniel Rakotonirina, from The Ocean Cleanup, presenting "A Volume of Fluid and Point-Particle approach for the simulation of the wave-induced drift of plastic marine debris". Many attendees of BGUM2025 will remember Daniel was one of our industry representatives, and it will be a pleasure to see him again.

All the best,
Wouter
