Dear all,
I am currently simulating some fundamental phenomena related to very thin liquid films. However, I’ve encountered an issue where the film remains unruptured for an extended period when the mesh is overly refined.
I have tried using curvature-based refinement to address this, but due to the extremely high curvature involved, this method does not provide sufficiently fine mesh resolution in the thin film regions. I believe that a thickness-based refinement approach might help overcome this challenge.
Would anyone have suggestions or recommendations regarding thickness-based mesh refinement methods or other strategies that could improve the accuracy and efficiency of such simulations?
Thank you in advance for your insights and help.
Best,
Yonghan
