That's because you probably copy-pasted the source code from your web browser and tried to compile that.
Basilisk.fr has a 'beautify' function that displays Greek letters inline, but that doesn't mean qcc will:)
So, either do as Kyle said, or use the 'raw page source' button visible in the website and wget to download that page.
This will compile no problem.
