Vizard collapses without errors

Hello,

I am running Basilisk on a Linux virtual machine on my Windows laptop. I am having a problem with Vizard when selecting the Basilisk message file: when I click on 'Select' from the Vizard window, it simply collapses without any error messages. On the other hand, the livestream using the socket address works fine. Does the problem originate from the fact that I am running Basilisk from a virtual machine or is it related to Unity?

Howdy Marita,

Please note that Basilisk has moved to GitHub, including the discussion.  I'm assuming you are running a recent version of Linux which changed things in the windowing system.  See the discussion at

The issue is with the 3rd party file browser not working on the newer versions of Linux, and we are still waiting for a fix from the developer.
