amazing people and I would be honored to be an officer this upcoming
school year!

Blood Drive Coordinators

Jacqueline Le & Miekkal Clarkson
Miekkal: Blood Drive Coordinator isn’t another prize to me, not
another bullet point on an application. It is a very real and serious
duty, one I would devote myself wholly to. The moment I was sixteen I
signed up for my first donation, and I’ve never missed a drive since.
It’s not extra credit I’m after; it’s for my cousin with hemophilia
who can’t run without fearing a cut or a bruise, for my grandmother
who needs transfusions during her surgery. For the nameless patient
I’ll never meet but will give a second chance. I want to help more.
Let me.
Jackie: So why vote for me? Well, I’m no Student Body President, Math
Club Elite or reincarnation of Gandhi but what I am is a hard worker
and dedicated friend. My co-runner, Miekkal, asked me to do this with
her because Blood Drives are an important, meaningful pillar in her
life. It’s because of that immense value that I promise those of you
who vote for me that I’d put all I have to offer into this position.
Blood drive coordinator is more then a position to put on an
application, but a responsibility that touches the lives of people we
might never meet and I for one don’t intend to leave anyone in the
dust.
Lexi Avant & Kalin Nehrenz
Hello fellow NHS members. Our names are Kalin Nehrenz and Lexi Avant
and we are running for NHS blood drive coordinators. Although this
will be our first year attending NHS, we strongly believe that we
would do a remarkable job as Blood Drive Coordinators. We promise to
give one hundred percent in all we will do for the blood drive. We
also plan on no matter what being on blood drive committee, simply
because we are very passionate about helping others. We know that we
will give our all in everything we do, so all we need is the vote from
you. NHS needs some new blood, that’s what we’re here for.

Coordinators we can be. We will work to promote and execute successful
blood drives throughout the year in order to help as many people as
possible. With your vote we will be able to work as a team towards

Blood Drive Coordinators.
Junior Blood Drive Coordinator
Brandon Ngo
Hello everyone. My name is Brandon Ngo and I am running for Junior
Blood Drive Coordinator. Throughout my time at Basha, I've seen the
impact and successes of the blood drive and wish to be a part of it. I
am willing to uphold this duty with full optimism and determination.
Despite never donating blood, I understand this role can be nerve
racking; however, I feel that in dire situations I am able to remain
calm. If I am elected NHS Junior Blood Drive Coordinator, I will make
sure to take whatever knowledge I acquire about the blood drive and
pass it on to the next Junior Blood Drive Coordinator. By giving me
your vote, you will ensure that the future of the blood drive remains
in good hands. Thank you for your attention.

held a number of leadership positions. With my ambitious and
determined attitude, I always strive to learn from people around me,
respect others’ opinions, do my best and nothing less, and maintain a

Shelby VanDamme; sophomore here at Basha, hopefully the next Junior
Blood Coordinator. I’m well aware that others are running whom you’d
rather vote for, probably because most of you know me as the annoying
girl in your class that never shuts up, but I’d like to ask you to

on and while I’m not ready yet for complete control I hope to prove
myself next year capable of being so. Let me try.

Hey guys, my name is Alex Cordell and I think it would be so awesome
to be Junior Blood Drive Coordinator. This year I was the Sophomore
Spirit Commissioner and I was recently elected to Student Body Spirit
Commissioner, so I have the necessary experience and know the in's and
out's of coordinating events, talking to students, teachers,
administrators and other people in our community, and just being
organized enough to help these events run smoothly. I really would
love to be an NHS Officer so please remember to Vote Alex Cordell for
Junior Blood Drive Coordinator and I will not disappoint you! :)
Kendall Arrington
Hello! I am Kendall Arrington and I would love to be our NHS junior

everyone and strive to make making a difference something that all
students want to be apart of. I love talking, interacting and helping
people. I will work hard with my team mates to achieve any goal and
make Basha proud. My ultimate goal is to be the school that receives
the most blood donations in the entire state. If we all work together
as a family we can accomplish any dream. If you elect me, I promise I
will do all I can in my power to help make next year full of success
and fun. Thank you very much!
