[ERROR] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Dear All, 
I am testing my apps and am now encountering a problem that seems to be not related to my app but to the machine on which the docker is running.
If I test the app using a virtual machine installed on my mac everything works.
However, if I use a virtual machine located on one of my unix server I get the follwing error: an error during post-application processing (see below)
It seems a problem of cross-talk between my server and the proceduer eused to upload data back on basespace.
There is any particular port that need to be open to alllow this cross-talk?

Hello. I am receiving the same error.  My permissions have read permissions.  I think this is okay for uploading?

What version of Mono are you running?  is it 3.2.8 or 3.12.1?

I have 3.2.8, and the manual uses 3.12.1.  this could be the cause?

this error is caused by an old version of mono. upgrade it.
