Audio/Video Show The Fifth

Organized by Basement Films and held in the ASUNM Southwest Film
Center, the fifth iteration of the Basement Films audio visual show is
upon us! Bask in the afterglow of all maner of cinematic delights set
to live music. Be warned: The cinema has never been so different, or
so noisy.


Friday November 20th
8PM Arch Rivals - Albuquerque mc's Illastr8ted and Nick Fury have
created a visual concept album, taking inspiration from the styles and
crimes of 1930's America.
9PM Maybe I'm A Lion - This local three piece will play to the surreal
video work of Zak Rutledge.

Saturday November 21st
8PM Our Years With Light - Improvisational noisejazzrock played loud
over live video-mixed clips and 35mm film loops. Lush.
9PM A Hawk And A Hacksaw - Unique hybrid of acid folk & intense gypsy
music to accompany clips of 60's Soviet Avant films on sorcery,
village life & lost love.

All events will take place at the South West Film Center on the
University of New Mexico campus in the bottom floor of the Student
Union Building. The Film Center info line is 277-5608.
